Bacup Social Enterprise

As a social enterprise we reinvest our surplus funds to support the local community. Income generated from the sale of our services goes to providing training, education and employment opportunities. We are also involved with activities and events to support the development of tourism in Rossendale.

We at BaSE are a local community organisation based in Bacup, Rossendale, Lancashire.

Our aims are:

  • To provide assistance to local food producers to grow their businesses through produce for the table.

  • To establish a community cookery school and provide vocational training utilising local produce.

  • To support new business, create local employment, volunteering and work experience opportunities.
